Sorry but a little self indulgent post....
I decided to have a little jump on Toby tonight, so I set up a small x pole, warmed him up as you do, popped my stirrups up one hole, collected him up, did some walk, trot halt transitions lots of loops etc.... so away we went... weeeeee popped over so well he was just so cute... this lad has helped me no ends and feel my confidence beeming as a result and now cannot wait to take him to some parties next year, am already starting to plan some, would like to take him x/c training... get me back into it more so.
He was ready and willing tonight and seemed alot more interested in working in the school.... = me very very happy
I didn't get any pics as OH was crashed out in my car at the time sleeping....
Would like to see how he goes again perhaps in the week and will try to get some pics.
like I said a self indulgent post but I cannot tell you how pleased I am with myself for giving it ago again... since last time I jumped was my old boy about 3 years ago properly.
