Well after my post earlier about trying to track down my old mare Wizard, I am now in contact with her owner. I am over the moon, its so wonderful to hear how she is doing after all these years.
A big thank you to you Cronkmooar, you have been an absolute star.

The wonders of HHO, makes something like this possible.
Wizard has been showjumping, doing cross country(takes after her mum for jumping ability and honesty) and looks so very well loved.

I am so happy to know of how she is and that the same young lady owns her, she really is a cracker.
Because I know she is a in a small area and because she is so distinctive I thought and hoped I would find her whereabouts.

Anyway, a bit of a pointless post but I am so happy to hear of how she is doing, and hopefully I would get first refusal if she was ever for sale, which I doubt, but you never know

Thanks HHO and Cronkmooar and Wizards now owner who has replied to me

Thanks, I hope so too, she really is a beautiful tempered and beautiful looking girl, and I did always regret selling her

But we all have to make sacrifices, I could not afford both her and her mum at that point.
Even if I manage to hear of updates of her and keep in touch with the owner and even visit her one day I will be so chuffed

Yes deffo! Im hoping to go and see my old mare soon. Her new owner has covered her and now thinks she is in foal so im praying that nothing goes wrong for her. She lives in Somerset and I live in Brighton so have a long way to travel lol xx

Thank you for your thank you

Glad I could help - I always look and the searching, missing, stolens etc as I have no idea who my boy is and I aways hope that someone might just have put him up - but as yet its never been him

Can't even get a photo up because my network despite constant alterations will not allow me to upload on to internet

You were lucky that you posted the photo from Manx Equine Photos - the Island is obviously very small and all it really took was an email to Joanna from manx equine photos and everything slotted into place.

Glad she is well cared for and loved - you couldn't really ask for more - apart from getting her back
