So happy!

I rode my mare for the first time in over a year today after she had diabetes related lami for pretty much the whole of last year! She is 100% sound and happy again, is a much better weight (don't feel like I'm doing the splits!) and she seemed really pleased when I walked over to her with the saddle instead of my other horse! At one point last year she couldn't even stand up and it was so heartbreaking to see her like that. It was so lovely to be able to have a little wander about on her again! Sorry a bit pointless but am so happy had to just say!!!

That's great news, I understand exactly where you are coming from having a laminitic myself, who I too have been incredibly lucky to ride after the damage settled down.

Thats really good news for you, you must be ecstatic. My mare goes for a re-MRI scan on the 29th after tearing her ddft last year, shes been on box rest since last April. Im hoping shes improved so that we can begin bringing her back into work, we are walking out in hand at the moment. Hope my news is as good as yours.
