No but my friend up in Scotland also received the text and went around buying chains for all her fields. Told her it was going around all over the country.

Either that or we ahve a very busy bunch of 'Eastern Eutopeans' in a very knackered van driving up and down the country!!!
I have a 'police alert' thing that calls me telling me of farm/equestrian crime and there has been nothing in my area . It all smells like the stuff that we dig out of the stables every morning to me.....

haha and its certainly worked! im now considering getting my horse freezemarked or microchipped because of all the crime spreading throughout britain!

Has anyone actually seen these people?? Or do they know anyone who has seen them?
A conspracy theory i've heard is that it could be a phone company could have started it off.
A friend who works for a major mobile phone network said once that the txts that read:
"You are my best friend.....Bla Bla Bla.......Send this txt to everyone you love and see how many you get back" etc are all sent out by the network as a way to make money!
Its pretty low if that is the case. Im away in uni at the moment and Im petrified that when I go back on wednesday My field will be empty.
