After a month off due to lameness Finn & I were finally able to start our event season. We went to mattingly BE100 as our first event 29 dressage clear sj and huge good cross country until one combination when we got completly crossed wires and got E - however it was our first xc together and we were allowed to carry on and finish the course as it wasnt dangerous!
After a few more weeks training BCA BE100 33 dressage clear sj and one annoying stop x-c totally my fault and kicked myself the whole way home! Couldnt believe it - however he was fab and felt like a pro all the way.
Onwards and Upwards we went to Coombelands PC Open - third time lucky! - 30 dr clear sj and FINALLY clear x-c. I didint push for time and got 5.6 time faults as i just wanted to get round! Finished 5th which i was delighted with. Considering I have only had him 4 months i feel we have really clicked now and cant wait for our next event! Purston Manor on the 3rd. Any one have any pictures of the BE100 course?
