Jodhpurs that is, after a days hunting. Mud stains saddle stains etc. how do you get the stains out?

I have sprayed on Vanish OxyAction, on both sides of the fabric as the instructions say, then washed at 60deg with Bold all in one, but they still have spots where the mud was.

How come other people turn up week after week in pristine jodhs? D they get new ones eery week?

I generally find that they don't! I have 2 pairs of hunting jods, and though they've been through the wash a billion times, the spots are still there faintly!

But, to get them as faint as possible I soak jods in vanish for a couple of hours then wash at 40 (only cos I don't wash lycra at 60!)....

Either rub a bar of soap into the stains then leave them to soak in a bucket for a day or so and then stick in the machine as normal, or soak them in a bucket of dilute Milton fluid for a day or two, then wash as normal. Both methods work for me.

Vanish soap bar - damp the area with COLD water, rub bar well into the stain. Leave to soak for a couple of hours then wash with Vanish powder in the machine at 30 deg with normal detergent.

Repeat if necessary (rarely is)

My OH has a traditional pair of breeches - non-machine washable - and he washes them in the bath with Vanish soap & cold water, rinses very well and then hangs them up (for several days lol!) They're still going strong after many many years use.

Warm water fixes stains, cold water doesn't, so if you've washed your jodphurs at 60 deg, then I'm afraid you're limited with what you can do now.
