I couldnt believe how good she was to lead tie up and have her feet picked up, clearly well handled. She is going darker under her winter coat too. not 100% sure on what colour she will turn out as her dad is a perlino quarter horse!

Looks very sweet, must have missed any previous threads about her.
How old is she, what height are you expecting her to make?

Have fun with her :) x

She is palomino but her dam looks to have a sooty tone so you'll have to wait and see how clear she or bright her summer coat is.

I hadn't seen any previous posts but knew straight away she was a QH because of her lovely bottom!

Here's our little chap last year at 3 weeks old (please excuse my flip flops!):

She is beautiful-congrats!

Congratulations.

I have one like that in my paddocks. What is her breeding (sorry, I am a pedigree junkie:() It isn't Two Id Blue Baron is it?

She is a palomino, judging by the colour around her eyes and mouth she'll be quite a good colour when she sheds, not too pale, but palominos change colour with the season and age, I don't think my stallion has been the same colour in summer yet. ;)

oooh Enfys, how did you guess the dad?? yes it is!!! Paid a little under the asking price in the end, as she is clearly very well handled, tied up like an angel and a temperament to die for :-)

:DI cheated and searched for Perlino QH's in the UK, there aren't that many around. A couple of my mares have Two Eyed Jack in their lines.

Pretty little filly you have there, and it sounds like she has been sensibly started too, you shouldn't have any problems with her. QH's are notoriously placid, are you used to them? If not, don't be surprised if she takes everything in her stride and acts like a much older, well seasoned horse, that's completely typical.

I have sold three of mine now to a lady who is a Therapy Instructor (RDA) and she even uses the two year old colt as a 'petting' horse he is that quiet.

she was so calm coming off the trailer after a 2hr journey too. she walked straight in the stable and munched her hay like she has been here a million times before! im used to unhandled youngsters so this girl is a breath of fresh air lol! still expecting some testing times though :-)
