After a few people had said that Flash looks like he still has some growing to do, I decided to try that measuring from fetlock to elbow then elbow to withers thing...according to that he has another 3 inches to grow

He is 6 next month, and is part WB, but this seems a hell of a lot? He is a bit bum high at the moment, and has grown 3 inches in the last 18 months, but couldn't he just be long legged?!

no idea, but all the adult horses I've tried it on have the same measurements, it's just still growing flash that had a 3 inch difference

I measured Flash yesterday, he's 15hh, he was 14.1hh when I bought him in December 2006, and he was having a small day yesterday. When he's full of himself his back is higher than my head and I'm 5ft4 lol! He still looks like such a midget next to 18.2hh Oliver in the stable next to him haha!
 
He looks like a lovely horse, Bear was 14.1hh when I got him almost 2 years ago as a 3 yr old and he's 15hh now, I think he's stop going up but is still growing out!!
