I simply can't afford it (amongst other things, long story), it's so sad. I've put so, so much work into him and got him hacking well etc. and now I've just got to stop.

Hopefully I'll still see him. Fingers crossed.

Feeling a bit down, someone tell me it's not the end of the world, please! :(

Awwww bless you xxxx

Its not the end of the world and as hard as the decision has been you made the right one, its better that you have made the decision rather than be selfish and keep him and then money cause there to be a slip in welfare xxx

AndiK; But that's what I'm worried about. I saw him everyday, rode him several times a week. She barely goes to see him. He's just going to bloat and bloat, there'll be a worry of lami. And also, today when I went to say bye, I fed him and he was dropping food left, right and center. There's an issue with his teeth I think. :(

Oh no :( This is especially difficult then :(

Is there no way you can keep him??? I had to take on a second job to keep my horse and I would have taken a third if needs be....

Could you not offer to share him? - I am sorry if this is all useless advice to you but I dont know what else to suggest ((((((((((((((((((((HUG))))))))))))))))))

Maybe the owner will let you share him for free as you've done so much for him? His teeth definitely need attentiom from what you have posted. Have you told the owner

It's so hard to get a job here right now, I'm looking like mad. :(

And I have told her, but there's no guarantee it'll even register with her. :(

Awwww bless your heart x

The other thing you could do, if the owner is not that fussed about the pony, is just look after him but dont pay until she says otherwise....???? That way your mind is at rest and you know yourself that he is ok??? I would even ride him perhaps???

I suppose the only thing you have got to be careful of is that the owner might get a little anti and then stop you all together.... But from what you have said she is not that bothered any way. When you can afford it/you circumstances change just ask to renew the loan agreement. Good luck hun and chin up :) Keep us informed :)

I'll still be going up to see him I think, the yard owner says I'm welcome on her land at any time to go see her horses also.
