Urgh.

They've got two bitches, a weimeraner and a miniture short haired daschund. Both are lovely dogs (if you can get passed the fact that weimeraner has never been trained and puts everyone on the floor :rolleyes: ) but even I can see the daschund's back end isn't quite right :( Weimeraner came without the full pedigree so not sure how she's bred but she's the biggest one I've ever met tho she does look pure bred tbf but she's a good 8 inches taller than others I've met.

What's even worse is she's also going into selling handbags and is going to advertise the puppies with the handbags :( I know she lives in cloud cuckoo land most of the time but this really takes the biscuit! Managed tro convince her to take daschund to see someone about her back so hoping they will talk her out of it but she's set her heart on it now :(
 
Not sure, the handbag business is registered. Would she need to let them know about the puppies until they arrive? I'm not sure how it works tbh :o
 
Direct her towards the KC site and the price of the relevant health tests. If she breeds the Daschie and it's 'wrong' round its back end, I wonder if the poor girl can even carry a litter (or a stud dog on her!) Has she mentioned health tests? If her handbags are designer, does she not think KC registration is a bit important?

Also perhaps mention how many ill bred dogs are in rescue, particularly her breeds!
 
Yes the tax man will be interested, esp when they see her advertisments, I am assuming she will have a website with these pups in bags"along with a nice letter declaring she is NOT paying tax for the sale that is the puppy its self":rolleyes::mad: she sounds like a right pleb, it must be rather frustrating for you.......me, I just come out and say "you are a pleb":D:p

Ask her how she would feel if the pups ended up in rescue and find her some gum tree ads to show her and ask if she has means to take them back?
Tell her a horror story about a C section gone wrong and the resulting bill;)

Tell her she may not do rescue but her pups may have no choice;)
I get you re the boss thing.........def do some undercover tax grassing.:)
 
Just tell her if she does no health tests any pups she sells could come back to her and she would have to pay back the money, it might make her think twice. Plus if the pups are unhealthy it will drag down her handbag business as well, is she prepared for that to happen.
 
I have mentioned getting health checks done. I very much doubt she would have any puppy back tho. Currently hoping she goes off the idea. I keep mentioning about how messy they are but as they have a dog room and a cleaner I'm not sure she cares too much... The daschund is booked in with back person (McTimony I think) so I guess therapist will say if there is anything wrong.
