Can I get away with washing all rugs and saddle cloths in our washing machine...hmmmm!

They are very hairy and he even noticed i put my clipping clothes in there!

I have 3 lol!!

He like the ponies ( he brought me the last one, and puts £15 in my purse each month for the retired ones keep!) he just hates the hairs! oh and the trail of shavings!

Brush them down with a dandy brush and then make sure you run the machine empty (with soap) and clean the fluff filter afterwards. He'll never notice.

Anyhow there's other great things to do like sitting on the sofa in your pyjamas with a glass of wine watching soppy movies. I'm sure others can come up with some more suggestions.

In your pajamas? Really?

Vacuum first then stick them inside an old duvet case to catch the hair. Put old socks over buckles & clips. Tbh, even when I lived with mine I did it anyway when he was home. Plus slobbing round in pjs.

My husband is away and I've just bought another donkey. He knew I was getting a donkey foal in October, but he doesn't know about this one. Her ears are 12 inches long and very shaggy. Do you think he'll notice?

so do we think a 350g heavyweight 6'6 will go in a washing machine?? hmmm

Depends on the washing machine :)

I have the same problem with my OH - now we wait for him to be gone for the day - then we brush the worst off first, hoover them and then wash them - and ALWAYS do an empty load on hot afterwards - the one time he caught me with the empty load I told him I was using the washing machine cleaner to make it last longer and be more efficient - I had the empty box there just in case ;)

Genius .... pure genius

We had to solve this thorny domestic flashpoint by buying a second washing machine ,now even my horsey clothes have to go into the horse washer.
