Fell down some steps and fractured my ankle. Now all bandaged up and on crutches.

Worst part was the t**t that told me I was in his way and could I please move after falling down said steps :rollseyes:

Ho hum.

Anyone else currently incapacitated at present?
 
Ouch! Hope it heals fast!

Ive been stuck in the house since thursday after a fall :( But no broken bones so hopefully will be out and about soon :)
 
I'm on strict bed rest after going into labour 7 weeks early over the weekend! Hospital have let me out if I promise to do nothing - but it's just so dull!

I've not ridden since November and now the weather is good and the ground perfect for some lovely cantering I'm really missing it!!

I feel for you and wish you a speedy recovery
 
Got a stress fracture to my L-5 at the moment. It doesn't hurt as such but it's been giving me sciatica and when asked if I could still ride, only walking hacks, the physio gave me a look that could kill! Not allowed to ride for another 4-6 weeks which sucks!!

I hope your ankle fixes soon and everyone else that's out of action is back in action soon enough!

Most of the winter had been grim here so for most of that time I've been looking out the window at the rain/ snow and been glad that I'm not allowed to ride (I gave birth 11 weeks early last time so promised to take it very easy this time!)

Just last few weeks when pony is getting fat on the grass and I'm getting fat on the lack of exercise that it's getting really really dull!!!
 
Have only just started riding again after surgery 12 weeks ago. First time that I have been unable to ride regularly in 35 years! Nice to be back in the saddle.
 
I'm 7 months pregnant, haven't ridden since beginning of March. I have just reached the stage where I am uncomfortable however/wherever I sit, stand, sleep... If everything goes to plan I'll probably be riding again in September-October, so will miss the whole summer. Oh well!
Though I am not as incapacitated as some people are judging by these replies!
