The eventer won a newcomers!!!

I so pleased with him he jumped his socks off even with useless on top!!

Jumped a lovely clear in the 1st round and was 3rd to go in the JO (5 clears from 15ish starters) there were 3 money prizes so i wanted to do well! well there were 2 quick clears before me (both pro) and i went in with instructions from parents to do the slowest double clear of the day so went in and just ambled round - song did want to moter on thou!! think he knows what a shortened course means now!! Lol

So when i came out they said something about it being a nice round so thought it mean i was last but i had gone in to the lead by 0.02 seconds

and neither of the other 2 were quicker!!

Went in and got my rossie and was talking to a very nice man think his name was Brian Smith? who came 2nd and told him i dint do clears!! but he was very nice and gave me a few tips to try and get some clears eventing!!

Then went to do the 1.15 open and eek there was a water tray!! Again he was super and just had 1 down on a 14 fence course and jumped fantastically over the water tray but i felt him go "ahhh" as he looked down going over it!!

So am over the moon with him and hoping for those elusive double clears eventing now!!

I no its quite a satisfying feeling espesially the horse in second has been placed either 1dt or 2nd in its last 4 runs and its mum was 2nd in the hickstead derby last year!!

Well *fingers crossed* i get in to salperton as im on the b{@@dy wait list then nutwell the week later! both novice then barbary!!

Ps well done to you and snoop as i dont think i posted on ur well done post!!!
 
Will hope to come and support you at Salperton if you get in. Going to wander on down there on the sunday i think, if not maybe Barbury.
