Our oldest friend’s daughter has a livery facility in Dorking where two university students keep their horses. Yesterday evening they announced they were going to a party. They said they didn’t care about the virus and the party was behind locked doors. Naturally they have been told to remove their horses. I ask you - why the hell are we bothering to self isolate.

Idiots

I was told by a livery this morning that in our local village, a group of youths or I could say worse but would get an infraction, went up to an old couple, spat at them, and shouted out coronavirus virus to them and one hit the old lady in the face. They were just bloody lucky I was not there when it happened

This sort of stuff was why my daughter and her boyfriend were desperate to get out of their shared uni accommodation, 2 of the girls in the house were still having an open house to friends.

What idiotic, selfish behaviour. The young lad living opposite me has just spent all afternoon with his mate, outside, messing with their cars. These muppets are obviously shielded by a protective bubble the rest of us know nothing about......?

This made the national news. I read it yesterday and was horrified. How disgusting.

That was reported in the papers - the youths have been arrested

Makes me so angry.

I have twins at uni and my son is desperate to come home and has asked us to break the rules to go and get him, and was upset when we said that we can't.

His sister is currently self isolating as 2 of her friends have been very I'll with CV so she couldn't come home yet anyway.

Its maddening when you stick to the rules, even when its really difficult, and others are shamelessly flouting them.

There are always nutters, but evolution sees to them eventually. :D
On the plus side, 170 000 people have volunteered to help the NHS.

So - more nice people in the world than nutters. :)

How do we go about doing that please? Or do you just mean retired NHS staff going back to work?
I hate sitting at home not able to do anything......although I suppose sitting at home IS helping, in a way.
Already volunteered to get shopping in my village for local high risk people though - not that's there's anything in the shops. stupid idiots still stockpiling.

southerncomfort - I hope your son is okay. I have friends stuck at uni too, it's not great at all. Have told them better stuck in uni accomodation than in a coffin though

This is it if anyone is interested: https://www.goodsamapp.org/nhs?fbclid=IwAR3AcZCYgZciP2X4Kfeb4KMgJspvXtrIiKjCi7wUeDnHGMiIu89D7i4-a24

I have been getting irrationally angry about stupid/selfish people - then I realised I am actually quite stressed, as I am sure everyone who has taken this seriously, followed advise (which are soon to be rules) are. But advice is always open to interpretation.?.?.?

And just to add to the stress the flippin page reloading problem is back!! Had to crank up the PC to post - forgot how to put emojis on - aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrgh!
