So pleased with my boy!

Probably won't mean very much to you guys, but I hacked Axey out on his own for the first time today

The yard is on quite a busy road but I felt very brave today and decided to hack to Abbots Wood as it was such a lovely day. Well Axey didn't put a foot wrong! I had visions of him spinning round and trying to go back home as he is a bit of a wimp lol but he amazed me by being really brave and quite forward going, bearing in mind that when I hack out with my friend we go behind them nearly all the time as every time I try and go in front he ends up wimping out at something

We had none of that today tho, and I am over the moon!

I was grinning the whole hack and all day since too

There were even some cars not slowing down etc and he didn't bat an eyelid at them, and loads of people in the woods with dogs, children in buggies and things too, he stopped and looked at then for a moment then carried on!
I can't described how amazed I am, if i wasn't riding him myself I would never have believed it

Oh I am SO pleased for you! First solo hack with a youngster is always a benchmark in their training

Thanks weezy, I have been around the farm on him alone before but I have never been brave enough to take him on the road on my own though
