So proud of my little Kitty.....
We went to the Cattistock show today and espite the really tight and slippy arena managed to pull of a lovely fast and clear round in the 3 ft to win
We had one down in the 3ft3 which was entirely my fault (it was off a tight corner to a double and I slightly overrode it putting herr in to deep so she had the front of the first element down) but still very pleased with her.
...on another note I am a bit concerned and upset about the agressive manner and attitude another rider had towards his horses/ponies...I sort of know him and he likes to think he's the beesknees/ top dog etc. today he only had 2 ponies (as far as i am aware, he usually brings at least 3
) i'm talking really hard, heavy hands with ridiculously severe bits, yelling/swearing at them an a number of other things. Both ponies looked quite distressed and he wonders why they seem to go downhill results wise and start stopping.....he has a rapid turnover of ponies when they 'start *******ing about with the jumps' he gets another one, last year an instructor advised that his parents sell an araby sj pony he had before he ruined it (they did)....BUT none of the stewards/judges etc bring him up on it?!
