So pleased with my pony

Took the boy xc schooling today.. He can be a nightmare to travel and OH normally drives .. While I sit in the car in panic mode waiting for pony to start kicking .. But OH couldnt make today (had to work) so I towed the pony ( have towed him before but I get alittle nervous ) my friend offered to come along and keep me company ( not with her horse ,just on foot) the pony travelled like a dream not a peep out of him !! And for his first ever xc school he was super.. jumped massive over the jumps we had a fab time pottering round ..( he hasn't travelled for months so thought he would be a nightmare) I know it doesn't seem that big a deal .. But to me it's massive .. Time for champagne

Maybe because you were worried you were giving your boy a smoother ride! I noticed in the past I always took corners wide and slow so ponies did not move, OH drove them faster and horses was less settled.

Lovely to read about your successful outing. Hope you try more it sounds like fun.

Thanks peeps .. I was plopping myself all the way there ..but not bothered about the riding that doesn't faze me !
