Just wanted to post as brimming with pride tonight. Took my 4yr old to an indoor he's never been to before and rode him with another horse for the first time ever!

He was so so good. No stressing, no napping (which I thought he might do) and no naughty behaviour. I'm so pleased with him!

I'm not the most confident of riders so purposefully arranged to meet a sensible friend with her sensible mare for our first time riding in company as he's not the bravest either but I needn't have worried He barely even looked at her, bless him and he worked lovely. I'm just so over the moon!

Sorry for the gushing post but don't you just love young horses?!

Youngsters are the best - they always surprise you and surpass your hopes! My filly who is rising 4 loaded in a trailer first time the other day - we'd never even shown her one before!

Awe bless. They just astound me with the trust they have in you. I took my rising 3yr old to my friends yard a few weeks ago after her not being in a trailer since she was a foal. She didn't bat an eye and was happily munching her haynet when I opened the door at the other end. So proud
