Had a lovely day today...was my day off so had a sort of lie-in and spent the day bonding with the baby coblet. Honestly spent about 4 hours or so with him this afternoon, let him have a blow out in the school, did some ground games with him - he's so super and quick learning bless him. He'll back-up, side-pass, turn-on the forehand both ways properly, join-up, etc....he'll just do anything you want him to. He loves doing new things too. He's not scared of anything object-wise - he'll go over poles, between cones, over tarp, do gates, etc. He'll let you try anything with him, even if there is anything he gets a bit unsure of, he will trust me enough to allow me to do whatever it is and trust that it won't hurt him at all. The barn he's kept in, is about a mile away from the main farm yard - so he happily walks from there on his own, just a headcollar, over the motorway bridge, by any traffic, etc. Didn't even so much as glance at the traffic going under the motorbridge the first time he went over it!
I'm hoping he'll be a bombproof dude when he's older. I absolutely love him.

I wish I'd washed him out before the photos though mind as some of them came out great, I love my bosses camera :D - he got a bath and a loong brush after for being such a good boy.

Love him!

Pointless post. I think it's made my mind up just to keep him as my sole horse - time will fly long enough and I'd rather be able to do all the ground work 110% with him and have a dude of a horse to start riding next year instead :) It was absolute bliss just spending the day with him and so much more fulfilling accomplishing the little things with him, than it is riding!

Just 2 pics of him here, the rest are in photo gallery.

He is so fluffy! Can I have him? He's a stunner! I'd definitely keep him, he looks so nice and cuddly, but I definitely might have to steal him from you...
