So proud of my boys :)

I'm so proud and happy that my OH got first place today in an inter RC dressage comp. He has only been riding for a year (after I became ill and couldn't ride my cob) and has done a few local dressage comps. Well today he was really nervous for the first time as he was representing our RC and was amazed to score 64.75% in Intro A and get first place and a very lovely Red rosette. Just so proud that my very novice OH has had such a great confidence boost and that my amazing traditional HW cob could show everyone there that cobs can do dressage

Best of all - comment from the judge on his score sheet - "A joy to watch".

Thanks everyone - I'll try to put some pics up later - beyond my computer skills but I have a nerdy teenager somewhere in the house that should be able to help me

Apercrumbie - I know how you feel - it does seem that he is a natural - but I tell him that it's easier for him as he has long legs to wrap round our cobs round belly - my legs stick out Thelwell style
