i cant remember the last time that i just had fun with my horse, i dont know why its taken this long to realise that she doesnt always need to be working perfectly.. but today we did have fun! i forgot about the schooling and making her work in an outline and we just did her favourite thing - jumping 
she hasnt done much jumping before so i just got her into a consistent steady canter and let her find her own way over the jump, she had some spastic moments but my god she's got a fair pop in her when she wants it!
