Seeing as it wasnt raining I thought I would have a play with my 2 yo in the lunge pen. He occasionally has a loose school in there so today I put the lunge cavasson on him to see what he thought. True to form he was a star so I attached the lunge line. He was a real pro, it was as if he had done it a million times before.

He got lots of big pats and carrots for his efforts. He also had a bridle on for the first time too.

Your boy's not at all ugly!

And anyway, the best horse I've ever had had a stripe that was off centre - he looked as though someone had thrown a blob of ice-cream at him, and it hit him between the eyes, slipped down his nose, and off to one side.

Well done for the achievements today - always best done when you're both relaxed with no pre-set ideas on how the day is going to progress!

LOL. Were taking things very slowly but I want to start doing little things with him before he gets too big.
