Today we had some people come to look at two of my ponies to buy to lease. The little girl that came to ride my 12.2hh welsh/arabian riding pony was too big for him, which we suspected, but the thing is he had been out of work for 10 days because he had anaemia and a virus.
He got Blud for 10 days with rest, and the vet is coming out soon to take another blood test, but i can ride him now. i was so worried he was going to be cheeky like usual, but today when i got on him to show him off, he went like a dream!!!

And my other 13.2hh arabian riding pony was getting looked at by a small adult, who is ideal for him because he is medium level dressage (bless him) and he would be wasted on a little kid. we also knew that the adult couldn't afford him but wants him for lease if we needed to move him out. so i got on him (he is in full work, but often has bad days) and he too was so soft and responsive! i could really show off his half-passes and and even did some flying changes! The lady got on him and couldn't get the smile off her face. He was exactly what she wanted.

its just such a good feeling when you can see all of the hard work that you put into your horse has really payed off.

sorry this was very self-indulgent but i had to share it!!!!
