Hi guys
Just thought I'd share my pride in Bess with you all.
On Friday I took her to Sykehouse for her first try at showjumping and she did a lovely clear round and got 4 faults on 65 but still came 6th. Now I know this is not really that amazing but considering when I bought her 5 months ago she would not jump I am so proud of the progress she has made.
What was even sweeter was her total enthusiasm for it and the wide eye wonder she showed when I took her out of the horse box. I have to confess though someone else rode her as I do not have the correct attire to ride her in competitions yet but now plan to get some as soon as possible because, as everyone keeps telling me, "It's your turn next!".
The one thing I do need to do though is get her much fitter. Have you guys got any tips on this that you could share with me please?
Thanks
