Bless my little brother (less of the little, he is 19), he is not particularyly horsey, but does come and sort the horses out with me. A while ago he was learning to ride on my mates 17.3hh warmblood, but since he got sold he has settled for the odd ride on my 13.2hh (very funny to watch).
Its just so nice to see someone that just loves to care for them, he would sooner groom and fuss them for a good hour or so than ride (he has been offered the ride on something more his size). He was so chuffed today that he learnt how to lunge, he really is quite a natural at this sort of thing and all of the horses adore him too.
sorry im just babbling, just think people that would rather groom and feed than ride are few are far between esp people that have just started up
