Sorry I’m a bit bored this evening so I thought I’d do a little update ?

Ace went to see my mum on Sunday for his assessment and passed with flying colours ? I’m not saying he is the best hound ever to walk this earth of course, but I’ve always found him really pleasing to look at and he has a real presence which will be useful if he ever gets into a show ring!

So all the forms have gone off to the Kennel Club to register him, and my mum has donated me a gorgeous leather lead with a slip collar to use when I show him. She moved him for me as well (I only had a mild heart attack at my aged mother wearing crocs running up the wet slippery road with a huge greyhound....!!!) and his movement is lovely, very parallel and true.

I took a quick snap of him stood up, he and I both need practice at this showing thing but it seems we’ll have plenty of time for that before our first show ?

Wow. he's a lovely stamp of a dog! What sort of classes will you aim for? and because I can't not how is George?!

He can just go into the classes for ex racing hounds (I think?) - actually I never really thought to ask, but he isn’t going to be fully registered so I assume he can’t do ‘proper’ dog showing! I’m not even sure whether he can challenge for best dog if he wins his class??!!

I’ve started working from home today, George is the loudest work colleague I have EVER had to endure ?has spent the whole afternoon yelling at me to take him for a walk/let him out/feed him and if he wasn’t doing that he was sitting on my laptop/squashing himself onto my knee when I was making a business call ?

I think they’re probably the best work colleagues ever ?
