Nedlet is now all but sold, passed vetting yesterday with flying colours! On friday the lady buying him brought her younger sister out to try him aswell, before she got up she said she'd only trot and within two minutes she was cantering him and popping fences, big smile on her face!! Said they both feel so safe on him and are mad about him. After the vetting yesterday she drove me out to show me the yard she'll be keeping him at, bout 20/30 mins away there'll only be 3 horses there, YOs, horse on boxrest, and him, but its lovely little place, about 3/4 nice big stables, and although its on a steep hill, everything, arena etc. is built in really nicely to it, just behind YOs house and its spotless! Yo already has his stable ready, shavings down and everything - we're not bringing him over til next saturday!! Shes so excited about him arriving, its hilarious! Wanted to know about his worming, vaccinations, exactly what he's being fed, etc. so very reassuring to see shes so thorough, as the lady whose buying him is novice enough and he'll be her first horse. YO so unbelieveably nice, even introduced us to the dog and cat!! After 2 minutes of talking to her, you feel you've known her a lifetime. Riding club is right over the road from her, nice hacking, x-country fences in the fields, its the perfect set-up, i couldnt have dreamed of a nicer home! She was like "you can come visit him ANY time at all!!" very funny as not actually going to be her horse, but lady buying him said she'll keep me regulary updated and said i can come visit him when i want, the whole process of selling him has been so incredibly easy and smooth i cant believe it. I'm so relieved, makes the whole thing that little less heartbreaking, now i know he'll be going to such a good home!
