so, the new farrier came today...

the new guys came today, i only had one for a trim, the baby horse, and i must say i was very impressed

my last farrier just came, sometimes, and trimmed or shod, this one had a barrage of questions for me which made me feel much happier, ie his workload, what hes doing, breeding, and so on

amd he actually discussed BH's feet with me, and gave me advice, unlike old farrier who just grunted a lot

plus one of the new guys looks like Thor

im having everyone else done in a couple of weeks time

is it sad how happy i am to have found a good farrier? ive been grinning to myself for an hour

baby horse liked him too and was beautifully behaved, will have to see how my old 'victor meldrew' gets on with him next time, lol
