............. I went up to the yard as usual to bring horse in from field for the day, and as usual he was at the bottom of the paddock and as usual I whistled and as usual he came trotting up neighing, and then I noticed this ....................................

....... He isn't actually that lame on it just keeps looking at when I am cleaning/ dressing it. I need to keep it covered as much as possible due to the flys and the vet has said 3-4 weeks for full recovery so don't think I will be able to do the sponsored ride I was planning in 2 weeks :-( but at least he is OK
