Was practising re call with him in the back garden when he spotted a cat and threw himself over our 5ft wooden fence. Ive never seen anything like it.

We found him about half an hour later when a lady called us saying our dog was ransacking her garden.

Ive just got in, very wet, very shaken and very pleased my dog is still alive.

:(

Trip to B&Q tomorrow then?;)

Remember - it would be boring if it was easy, it would be boring if it was easy...

If it makes you feel better I nearly lost Henry today, he was playing with another pair of dogs near to their owner, she got out a treat to get her dog to sit so she could put the lead on and head off and Henry promptly planted his arse in front of her, looked expectant and refused to move!:o:rolleyes:

Dear Lady La La,

I know what it is like to land back in your own kitchen, in your pyjamas and wellies, with your heart in your mouth (that hoarseness in your throat will last until..ooh...Tuesday?)

Yesterday, I managed to yell 'siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!' and stop my dog from killing a stoopid tabby cat and four sheep. He is nearly four. You will get there. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. But your neighbours may try to get you sectioned....

Lol, bless henry :p

Cc, our neighbours already think we're mental!
I cant blame tyson, cats aren't usually brave enough to come anywhere near our fenceline or into our garden these days, and he was only doing what comes naturally to him... Just glad hes home and unharmed... Well, kinda glad anyway

Speaking as the owner of a (reformed) escapologist I feel your pain! Oscar could jump over 8 feet and I never managed to keep him in anywhere just with a fence. Sadly he could also chew through a longline in seconds and was a confirmed sheep chaser :( so if you are ever in need of sympathy pm me and I can supply it in spades :)
