Every school holiday since I've owned him, he's been lame, apart from last christmas. Was on and off lame all through the summer too, it's just so frustrating, but obviously not his fault or anything

And now he's got an abcess! Just as half term starts, how typical

So i'm horsey shopping to make myself feel better..and him too, of course

Sorry to hear your horse is lame. Might be asking a stupid question here now so forgive me but if he's lame on and off so often, I presume you have had the vet out to him haven't you?

Hope he gets over his abcess soon ((hugs))

Watch what you are feeding him - it's just an observation - but I see more abscesses in horses that are fed a high sugar diet, with molasses licks (sulph) than appear to be the norm.
