Just seen an advert up for a young male dog for sale because they no longer what him to breed from ! Horrible to read that they bought him to make money out of and now they have dont that dont want him anymore :-(

I used to work at an animal shelter it really is upsetting the amount of people who brought dogs in because they are bored of them, or havn't bothered to train them and wonder why they wee in the house :-(
 
I get to see a lot of the pound lists on Facebook. That is heartbreaking. Little information, guestimate as to ages (not blaming the pounds btw) and frantic people trying to organise rescue spaces when there are so few.

So, just in the Christmas period alone, Battersea had 96 dogs handed in (and 50+ cats). This includes a box of EBT x puppies just dumped in a box outside Old Windsor on NYE.

Providing he's castrated, don't see the problem. At least they're being honest, he's not being dumped and a new home is being sought.

It's sad, I would go starving before any of my animals did i know someone who got kicked out of a flat for having two dogs and couldnt find another place to rent so she slept in her car with the dogs !

He wasn't, i understand that and its ten times better than going into a shelter :) I just do not see the point in buying a dog for making money off, im to much of a soft sodd and defintaly wouldn't be able to part with said dog !
