moved everything over this morning to new yard, with the boy following on later in the day.

he looks a little lost in the 12 X 14 foot monster box he now has :) but was happy wen i left him munching his hay, he isnt turned out yet as ive yet to walk the paddock & check for nasty weeds ect.... & whilst im sure there are not any id rather be obsessive & safe than complacent & regret it.
pics to follow as soon as i can find the cable for the camera.

on the other hand i left a list of all the missing items of mine with replacement costs & minused out my months notice cost with a polite note that if its all returned by the end of the week i will pay the months notice if not then unless the remainder of monies owed is paid by end of month i shall take Legal action (the total of items to be replaced is more than 3 months rent)

think its been a productive day.

What on earth did they have of yours that equalled 3 months rent

reins, stirrups & leathers, roller, side reins & closed bridle (all went in one afternoon) broken riding helmet & 2 turnout rugs.
thats the bigger more expensive stuff but the little bits soon add up like the 9 leadropes (9x £4 = £35) 3 headcollars, 2 body brushes, 4 hoofpicks, bottle of Coopers spray (was unopened too) the list goes on...........

OH and it was all in a lockable cabinet, one of those office filing type ones but he broke the door open to get the fly spray last month!

Bl**dy Hell!!

It sounds as though you couldn't afford to stay! There are so many damm right, hard faced theives in horses today, that things havn't changed from 200 years ago that much.
Good Luck with your move.

think its a good choice as when i got there today, he was laying down flat out asleep in stable, ive never seen him do, that before. went in sat with him & he didnt move.

love my boy & am glad he seems happy, turning him out this evening to chat to new neighbours over the fence & have some grass.

i'll bet your boy is happy to be able to relax without worrying that they're going to steal the bed from underneath him!!!! Sure you'll both be vary happy at the new place:)
