Went to meet our first pup today. He's a 6 week old Working Springer Spaniel. We didn't get to pick as we were last on the list, but it just so happens he was the one I wanted! So excited to bring him home and a little bit daunted as well... But as everyone loves pictures of puppies:









He's the chunkiest in the litter! And I liked him because he was a bit different marking wise. He currently he very blue eyes but we're not sure if they will darken. His brother, Alan, (yes there is a puppy called Alan which I think is a great name!) had blue eyes but his have darkened.
 
Alan is a great name! There used to be a dobermann on our yard called Alan although this often got extended to "Asbo Al"


PS - I love the name Boots too he is is soo cute!!!
 
Welcome to the madhouse. I have an 18 month working ESS. Will you work Boots? They really need to keep their brains busy.

I'm going to do agility with him when he's old enough but he won't work as a gun dog, might do the training with him though to keep his mind occupied.

Thank you everyone! I'm so happy that I got the one I wanted despite having to have the one that was left after everyone had picked!
