In March i fractured 2 fingers, 5 breaks in bottom joint of ring finger and 3 in top joint of middle finger, needed surgery to place metalwork to keep everything stable. Still on recovery and struggling with hand movements, back to hospital in june for xrays and talks of surgery to take plates out as think soft tissue is sticking to my plates.

Im at the national stud doing the diploma in stud management, luckilly they've let me stay on completing the academic side and should finish this end of June.

What should i do, really dont want to give up on working at the studs but dont think i can for now, dont have enough experience for stud office kind of job which is what i really want, still having physio and surgeon appts so would someone take me on for a 9-5 mon to fri office job when need so much time off already? BUt general office work doesnt have the same appeal unless with animal/racing/farm type.

WHat would you do in my position??

How about looking at jobs for racing secretary work? Or in the interim get some temp work as having secretarial experience and the ns diploma should stand to you.
To get the sort of job you are really after IS tough. You will need to build up a lot of experience first and even then it's often those with business type degrees plus the ns course that get those jobs easier. I'd apply for any racing secretary jobs going first.
