Pay for large round bales of haylage?

Just wondering as I usually make my own but this year had more horses than expected so bought it in.

Crickey Jen, that's pricey, I know that down your way the crops have been bad though.

My supplier, who I have used in the past, and is a friend is selling it for £25 but to me and friend £20 and that is delivering as and when I need it.

Feeling very chuffed.

Used to get hay from him and he would store it until I needed 6 at a time, £10 per bale.

He doesn't charge for delivery, 5 miles away, and I just drop him a text and get them 1 or 2 days later.

I am glad I have bought it before everything heads south.
Barley is £280 per ton at the moment. Frightening!!! It was £80 a few years ago.
