I had a brilliant lesson today. Absolutely exhausting but learnt so much. First time I have seen anyone else ride my horse, and I just didn't realise how amazing he is.

I can't wait to get back on him - so much to practice and improve on. I'm so excited that I'm planning to get up at 6am tomorrow to ride before work!

I worked all the horses on Saturday, and today (my day off ha ha) I took one of the Aderro Stallions to Hartpury for the British Warmblood grading... he graded so that was good, but I got soaked running to and from the lorry!!

Mike took Gen to dressage. First time out for several months after Gen was having some really big stress issues which resulted in him rearing vertical in his last test.

Back to basics and lots of hard work for Mike really paid off as Gen won his Novice (21) with a massive 76.5%

So we had a brilliant weekend and Im still grinning.

You sound like you had a great day! Excellent!

I went showjumping yesterday and came 2nd and 3rd in two fairly big classes

Today I went to the beach with Darce

my little cusin went to ticle treat show at towerlands and came 4th and 15th in the 85cm grand pr out of 130 and she is only ten

Had people coming to second-view my mare but rang the hour before to say trainer wasn't well

Thanks. The score was a huge bonus. The fact that Gen remained calm and 'collected' and didnt get tense (or rear!!) was just fantastic. I could feel my heart beating so hard for the whole test. God knows how Mike must have felt.

Rode in the rain yesterday (H and B) and clipped Holly, only a chaser as she will be living out 24/7 this winter.

Saturday went with OH to various shops looking at digital cameras and possible christmas presents.... we had to stop in the pet shop to look at guinea pigs too - they are soo cute!

I lunged the horses on Saturday (bit windy to ride).

Yesterday I went to BSJA, won the 1.10m Amateur Qualifier and in the 1.10m Open I screwed up in the jump off having 2 fences down (rode like a moron!).

Ive just got back from a SJ lesson with my other horse who was good
