So when is a cob not a cob?

a cob to me is a short legged short coupled powerhouse of an animal, with a leg in each corner capable of carriying weight. have a look on horsequest and you will see alot of animals advertised as cobs that are not cobs at all just chunky horses.

She's a cob alright and she is smashing! What a lovely kind eye she has. As above, a cob is a type not a breed. Not sure about height restrictions for showing but try and 'google it' for an answer.

To me a cob is a type..a weight carrier so plenty of bone, feet to match, short back usually accompanied by lots of hair!!

I imagine by saying she's not a full cob she meant a cob crossed with something that isn't a cob hence the finer legs..
