How long is a piece of string!! She could grow till she's seven or eight, how big are her parents? She still looks out of proportion and i'm assuming she's in work due to her being clipped. if she were mine i'd not be doing much with her this year at all, certainly staying off circles and just doing a little hacking and teaching her manners. I like her ermine marks, make her very distinctive. Give her time now and with luck she will last you for a couple of decades and more.

Sorry - forgot to say, she's 6 officially but not actually 6 til May! She was very lightly backed ( just sat on really) at 4, then turned away again and started proper work just after she turned 5 last year. She was a very slow grower!

I think their skeleton doesn't mature until post 7 so she could certainly keep growing - by how much - you'll need someone who knows that they are talking about!!

Her mum was 16.1hh dad was 16.2hh. I backed her lightly last summer (August) and turned her away til Febuary. She is doing a little work, I'm having a lesson every 2 weeks, mainly in walk with a little trot just working on basics such as steering, consistent contact and smooth transitions. Hacking is good, she has only been out 3 times and seems to enjoy it. She has a very good work brain! I do a little long reining and lunging.

She's lovely!
Mines a full Irish TB and she has just levelled out, I hope for the last time, at 17hh! She's was 15.1hh at 2 and was supposed to make 16.1hh :)

She was 16.1hh at 3 years old. I'm going to measure her at 4 and see where we are but she's just got so huge all of a sudden!

Thanks for replying! Im just a bit worried if she passes 17.2hh I'll look like a pea on a drum! :-D
