Well I did. As planned I arrived early enough to be right at the front of the car park as I don't think my car would do well on muddy grass.
I bought nearly all that I wanted - a warm riding coat, a gilet, socks, leather cleaner, high viz gloves, add in a couple of coffees and a potato and spent just over £200 not including entrance.
There were some apparently good bargains for things if you really needed them - Ariat boots for £100, etc.
I didn't get a high viz riding coat in the end, although I looked, nor are my gloves waterproof which is what I really wanted.
I watched two interesting talks - the first about the use of boots for horses - and a new on-line club for children called "Think Like a Pony"
Take away the riding clothes and what have you got? Not an awful lot. I didn't watch any of the main arena shows and there were so many trade stands that I remember and used to buy from in the past that were no longer there.
I got mostly what I was setting out to get but I won't be in a hurry to go back.
