I'm off with the OH on Saturday meeting some friends there too, not camping at Rudding Park, stopping in nice hotel in Harrogate and we are off to paint the town red because somebody turns *cough cough* 30 on Saturday.

I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm going on Sunday. Bit of a last minute decision, exams are over on fri so thought it would be a nice treat. Except I haven't got my tickets yet? Have never been before as I'm a southerner - can anyone tell me if I'll be able to watch any sj after buying a ticket on the gate?

Rugs, new hat, spur straps, head collar & rope for my new horse who is smaller than all the others needs 6'6's all the others are in 6'9". I am sure that I will find lots more that I will just have to have hehehe !!

Actually I don't 'need' anything this year....

OH asked me the same question yesterday, and when I said I probably wouldnt get anything he laughed, and reminded me that I said that last year and came home with a pair of long leather boots, a joules T-shirt, leather chaps for the kids and god knows what else.

Currently I have a bit of a numnah/saddlecloth fetish so who know....

Ooh, I'm going sat - can't wait.

Haven't made a list as there's nothing I really need and I'm quite short on cash atm but am sure will come home with lots of lovely things I 'need' anyway.

Well I can't think of anything I really need neither, a horse box would be nice, or a new trailer but that is just wishful thinking.

I might just skulk around the horse box area and sneak someone's horse of the back of the lorry and ride off into the sunset!

Yeah that will do just nicely.

Oh I do need some new breaches though.

Yeah - Saturday for me and a couple of friends - shopping, some jugs of pimms - we dont usually get round to walk the course haha!

Would like a new hat and some dubarrys - just gotta check my credit cards not maxed out!

Saturday, provided not too wet, with sister and meeting up with one of her riends there. No shopping list, but will no doubt go home looking like a pack mule

Yep, just finished work for the week - have job interview tomorrow but heading up in aft to watch some dressage, event horse etc.
KatherineLouise, you can go and watch whatever you like as arenas open to view for all. I would advise to take yourself a nice camping chair (one with cup holders of course) and park yourself at the arena - get yourself a nice stroll distance form the bar and you're sorted!

Except of course you'll have to flit between each arena for the different SJ classes, mix and match etc!

Poppymoo - where are you? I'm just down the road too!!!

Me! I'm going on Saturday and really looking forward to it even more after Chatsworth being cancelled. I'll be dragging the OH round the shopping but have no wish list in mind (whatever my puppy eyes can wangle out of him
