So...........

It would appear that the lovely Thumper is not quite the paragon of virtue that I thought he was......

A friend borrowed him a few weeks ago to babysit another friend - He p*ssed off with her. And the girl I pay to ride him twice a week is finding him a little challenging. Topped off today by him flinging himself around the school, refusing to go near the trotting poles, and generally being a prat by the sounds of it.

Naughty Thumper

Lord knows how he got that idea!

Isn't it funny though, how they can behave soo differently with other people. I hope that I'm not going to have to look for someone else to exercise him in the week for me. She's an excellent jockey. I just hope she's not being put off him.

Oops sounds like a certain black horse I know, good as gold for his mum, Damien for new people!

Sounds like you also have a boy who likes to test out new people!

LOL Fudge is the same, the worst thing he's ever done with me is the spooking and running back thing in the school. However with the sharer I used to have he reared, span, bucked, napped and spooked all whilst she was trying him out, she did eventually fall off. I was gobsmacked to say the very least.
One of my friends rode him out with her sharer once and he napped, bucked refused to do what he was asked and scraped her leg along a fence...
I like it too

but what a toad really!

Its great though when you dont like someone... my old boy can be a nightmare with novices. I let me ex get on him, and then let him go on a big open field. He didnt let me down, bombed off with ex holding on for dear life, Ahhh payback!

My horse is a bit like that. He can mess about with other people. I think he feels sorry for me, because I am carrying some injuries!!

I have no idea how Daisy is for other people to ride because she tries to kill them or escapes when i am away

, making them so traumatised by her ground manners that they are frightened she might be the same to ride. She's a little angel for me, she knows exactly where the boundaries lie.
