once hay has been soaked
will hay be ok to feed if it freezes..esp with this cold weather we are getting
even their water in their stables freeze overnite

also in vet section

Mine had crunchy hay last night.
In the wild, they'd be eating frozen grass, so I don't suppose it's much different, apart from getting your hands freezing wet and cold handling the soaked haynets!

I would think it would be ok if it had been soaked before, as all of the sugars have been soaked out. I cant think of any reason why it would be bad :)

But frozen grass is a no-no for a laminetic, you might know this already, and anyone correct me if im wrong (in a nice way please :o ) but (i think :p)the frost affects the photosynthesis, and that makes the glucose levels change, and the glucose is the bit with all the sugar in it (i think ) and that makes frozen grass as bad as spring grass (i think ;))
