I've heard many people suggest this for getting feather and tail/mane really clean on hairies, but where do you get them from?

I've checked my local supermarkets and can find soap powder but I don't think it's the same thing... Obviously please correct me if I'm wrong!

Also, how do you use them to get those hairy bits sparkling white?

Thanks peeps :)

they are just flakes of soap - the same stuff as a soap bar but just in flake form!

try boots or even e-bay!

Can't help with the rest of the questions as don't own a hairy!!

Should be available in supermarkets. You are looking for a cardboard packet bit smaller than a cereal packet and they will be with the products for hand washing clothes.

I get them in the supermarket though haven't bought any for a year or so. They are tiny flakes of soap, a lot less harsh than the powders. In my local supermarket they were with the stain removers, handwashing liquids etc. Not sure where else you could try?

Ok great, have confirmed that it's not the powder I'm after, which is what I thought.

I've checked quite a few of my local supermarkets but nothing in the washing section, tis a real pain. Looks like I can get them on ebay so may just do that.

So how do poeple use them?

We use this stuff to wash numnahs as my TB has very sensitive skin. Gets them really clean too. Oh if anyone else wants to wash in a machine using them, NEVER put them in the soap tray, always straight in the drum with the clothes/tack. It will block up and you will end up with a flooded kitchen. Now how would I know that...?

ALL supermarkets now no longer stock it and yes we have looked in all of them. We got ours from one of those old style hardware stores you used to find everywhere.. the ones that sell all sorts of handy bits and pieces.

Or google soap flakes... amazon do them but they are very expensive from there.
