soft heels

i cant win just sorted my boys heels out after being 2 dry now they r 2 soft.its ok when 2 dry coz i can sort them out with babyoil etc but please can anyone suggest how i can dry them out a bit coz the seem a bit sore and need toughenin up.bein a thoroughbred his feet never seem 2 be perfect please help

I would use cornucresine all year round, that way they keep a balance of moisture rather than going from one extreme to the other.
