When we first got Lola I put two old teddies in her crate for her to cuddle. Anyway, now she has got bigger and more destructive she has shredded them both beyond recognition and I am sick of vacuuming stuffing up so I have thrown them away =/ .. Cue the massive sulk from Lola! So ... can you get anything like soft toys but for dogs? She's not even chomping her kong which is unusual!!

Most pet shops sell soft toys for dogs - pheasants, ducks etc are popular. I found some amazing pheasants with no stuffing recently - they tend to last longer as they cannot be de-stuffed :D.

Maisie destroys hers within a couple of weeks too

I get mine from local animal rescue centre, they have a monthly open day with various stalls and always have a box full of teddies etc, usually about £1 each.

I do have to check out the eyes etc in case they're the button types, so remove them before letting her have them.

Our dog loves her soft toys! The favourite at the moment is a large flamingo! lol. She is though a bit savage and the squeaky elements never last very long at all! She has her own 'toybox' where all her toys are tidied away to and when she's asked to "fetch one" off she trots to her toy box and she'll rifle through ad decide what she wants to play with - more often than not at the mo it's the flamingo! She has various toys in there though, mostly missing limbs and stuffing! Lol.

We generally replenish them at xmas time and sneakily throw out the really old, knackered ones! hehe.
