Do they exist ??? Waterproofs that are WATERPROOF ??? As getting very bored now with seepage and scared that I may end up with trench foot on my bottom.
What do you wear ? And are you dry ? X

Waterproofs made with Goretex are usually good, I have a Berghaus jacket that I've had for 16 years that's still waterproof.
Outdoors brands like Berghaus, Northface etc normally do Goretex clothing and are good quality. If you shop around you might find some in the sales.

I have found mountain horse good and not too expensive. Have not had any reain in the south as yet! even though it was forecast yesterday! we could do with some though!

No, I don't think many materials can cope with the pressure from a backside moving on a saddle without allowing water in. Go with the waterproof trousers or full chaps plus full length stockmans coat, and a scarf to hopefully stop the rain running down your neck.

Regatta ones never had them leak yet. Don't know why I haven't worn them for past 2 days as been soaked 2 days running now

Flexothane was what was used at the trekking stables I helped at on Dartmoor. Not breathable so rubbish for walking or "hard" riding but worked well. Generally acquired from farm shops. Also not a fashion item but properly waterproof. ..

Dartmoor had proper rain. Shropshire is remarkably dry in comparison - passed Flexothane trousers to OH as haven't needed them yet!
