Hello,

I had the most misrable soggy day out on tuesday and my faithful hunt coat was so wet I felt like I had jumped in a pool in all my clothes. So, is there any sort of product on the market that wool hunt coats can be treated with to make them water resistant/ water proofed? any sort of spray, I would imagine some sort of teflon coating would do the trick, but have no idea really. I know in a downpour I'll still get soaked but there must be something you can put on coats to help?

If there isn't can someone please invent something quickly!

I am in no way suggesting this will work ... but have you thought about some of the spray on waterproofing that you get for rugs and walking jackets Nikwax?
I's imagine you'd need to do a trial to ensure it didn't damage your wool jacket though
I'm sure someone told me that the v expensive ones actually have a waterproof liner in them..could you retro fit one to your jacket?
