I'm interested in having the soil in my paddock analysed. A quick search has pulled up one price of £22 or so and one of £69.99.

Could anyone who has had this done please tell me what I should be looking for and whether the cheaper ones are worth doing or do I need to spend more money!

Equally, any recommendations for a good place to send it to? Many thanks!

I've used Progreen a couple of times, they give me an long list of different minerals with a traffic light system to tell me it's OK, good or bad in the context of horses (if you want to grow barley then the mineral requirements are different) it's a single page and seems to cover all the things I'd expect to see - not mega science but plenty for me - is about £25
