Has anyone set up solar panels for lighting & electric plug so I can boil a kettle & run some clippers ?

I believe you have to run the solar panels into a leisure battery to store the generated power.

Can anyone recommend a company that could do this ?

Thankvyou

You do need to have solar panels and also a leisure battery. There is a sticky about it in this forum somewhere.

Your problem is going to be the kettle - uses serious amounts of power. Solar panels and batteries are going to struggle to supply that. Could you do without the kettle? What wattage are the clippers?

You would need an inverter to run clippers and I doult it would work well and forget a kettle it's to much power .
However solar panels will power 12v LEDs very very well so lighting the stables will be easy .
We have a bolt hole on the beach the solar panels power the lights really well .

hi there ive got solar power its fab a friend fitted it for me . ive got lighting in my stables in my yard in my shed all off of a panel and a battery . i could get it individually designed for you at a really good price
